The location ideal and handy to the entire lake district. Just off Indian restaurants, the local train lines and shops, pubs and restaurants.

The breakfast was superb, with locally sourced ingredients and cooked to perfection. The room was super clean and comfortable, complete with a fan to beat the heat. Plus, the hosts were very good by offering us homemade flapjacks for our day of walking!

Stayed for 2 nights in this nicely decorated and excellent place, really enjoyed that. We got twin room with private bathroom, enough space to comfortably relax while waiting for the rain to pass and good bed linen, had very lovely experience here. Was a decent base for weekend.

Warm hosts and a filling breakfast
The breakfast each morning was hearty and satisfying, just what I needed to start the day off right. The room was comfortable, providing everything I needed for a restful night. One minor improvement could be having more healthy breakfast options like fresh fruits or homemade cereals.

The room was comfortable and equipped with a fan, a nice touch. Breakfast was satisfying with a hearty full English and plenty of other options. The hot water in the washbasin was excessively hot and could be a concern. Parking was limited, requiring cars to be parked in a tight formation.

We had a lovely time with a really comfy room and a breakfast that hit the spot every morning. There’s a cozy lounge to relax in and a nice outdoor garden area to unwind. The separate bathroom was a bit of a trek, but it didn’t ruin our great experience overall. 😊
